Flu Vaccine Bookings Now Open – Book Your Appointment

Flu season is approaching, and flu vaccine clinic bookings are now open at Signal Health, with clinics commencing in April.

Booking early can help secure an appointment time that suits you and your family.

Extra flu clinic times have been added this year to make booking easier, with dedicated clinics designed to keep the process simple and convenient for you. This year we have also reduced the private flu vaccine fee from $20 to $15.

Government-funded flu vaccines are available for eligible patients, including:

• People aged 65 years and over

• Children aged 6 months to under 5 years

• Pregnant women

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over

• People aged 6 months or over who have medical conditions that mean they have a higher risk of getting serious disease including:

  • Cardiac disease

  • Chronic respiratory conditions (such as severe asthma or COPD)

  • Immunocompromising conditions (including those caused by medications or medical treatments)

  • Haematological disorders

  • Chronic metabolic disorders (such as diabetes)

  • Chronic kidney disease

  • Chronic neurological conditions

  • Children aged 5–10 years receiving long-term aspirin therapy

Private flu vaccines are available for patients who are not eligible for a government-funded vaccine and COVID-19 vaccines can be given at the same time for eligible patients. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, please speak with your GP.
