RSV Vaccines Now Available

Government-funded RSV vaccines are now available for eligible patients at Signal Health Newton.
This is a new addition to the National Immunisation Program (NIP), providing government-funded RSV vaccines for adults aged 75 years and over and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 60 years and over.
RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a common virus that can lead to more serious respiratory illness in older adults, particularly during Winter.
RSV vaccines will be given in dedicated RSV clinics, so the process is quick and straightforward for eligible patients. We will be running a number of clinics over Winter, but due to limited supply, there may be a delay in vaccinating everyone who would like one.
