What to expect each week
Two supervised exercise sessions per week for 6 weeks.
Each session lasts around 45 minutes.
You will be supported to gradually increase your exercise level in a safe and structured way.
A follow-up appointment is scheduled 3 months after starting the program, where you will repeat simple physical tests to review your progress and measure improvements.
Evidence & Research
GLA:D® is supported by international research and clinical guidelines for managing hip and knee osteoarthritis.
Studies have shown that the program can reduce pain and improve daily function.
For some people, these improvements may delay or reduce the need to consider surgery.
Surgery may still be required for others, depending on individual circumstances.
